LAMFI Equipment is a family-owned company based in Prato, near Florence. Founded in 1949 as LA.M.FI. (La Meccanica Fiorentina) for mechanical packaging, the company gradually specialized in hermetic closures.
By the late 1970s, it split into filling solutions and cap press/assembly machinery. With plastic closures and internal liners, LAMFI expanded to disc insertion and assembly systems for all types of caps and closures.
In 1999, LAMFI Equipment was officially founded. Acquired by MACA Engineering in 2024, it strengthened global presence, offering reliable, customized, state-of-the-art packaging solutions.
